Part One
Well, thank you for checking us out.
We are inviting you to participate in a founding meeting of our organization.
There are many groups across the Province of Alberta insisting on change. Whether this change is to correct a misstep by our Leadership or Bureaucrats, or simply a new direction felt to improve the future of Albertans. Change is needed.
Regardless of your direction, what is painfully obvious is the need for public education and a fair and transparent method of communicating with the masses in a manor that is both convenient to them and detailed enough for them to participate in public discussion. An impartial fact based media is required. Also required is a growing distribution network that spans demographics and regions around the Province.
Your interests, as well as our own, are in search of like minded active participants.
We have this collection of media available for your use. Audio Broadcasting, Video Broadcasting, Print, Web, Podcasts, Social Media – the whole gambit. Additionally we are scheduling events all across the Province on an ongoing basis. You are welcome to do this on your own, or you can take advantage of cross promotion. And let’s face it. We are stronger together. We call this invitation Part One.
As for Part Three, when you hold your meeting or make your presentation what is the number one question asked at the end? For us it is – how do you intend to put your plan into effect? Are you tired of watching the eye roll when you say “we are going to get our existing Government to make changes”. Let’s just say we are working on that solution too.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here… Let’s see if we can work together.
Here’s what we need from you. We need – hopefully – a 12 part story of exactly who your organization is, and what your focus is. As much detail and evidence as can be put together. And what we hope to do is create a series of interviews that we will record, hopefully in one shot or over a very short period of time. We are hoping to break each part into 12 minute segments. An hour (4×12) per show.
We will take each video, and pull the audio and transcript from each recording. That gives us Audio, Video, Print, and Social Media. A little magic on our part, and a fixed schedule of release and together we can publicize the show’s airing. Collectively we can build a broader audience. We have no intent to release one, without releasing several other shows and programs at the same time. Once a week, one story per edition, one series of promotions per episode – together we are stronger. This is about 3 months worth of content. It works while you do other things. We can just run it once and podcast it, we can repeat the stories, we can reuse what we recorded or we can record more content. One or two days worth of recording goes a long way.
In exchange for us doing this project, we have one request back. While the broadcasting is going on, we have a “Shop Local” App we want you and your members/associates to inform your business community about. Its not a sales job, just a simple free offer. BUT….we want you to track who you talk to so we can see who signed up.
Quid Pro Quo. And our offer for App participation is free and takes 5 minutes to do.
If we can do this first part together with defined goals and responsibilities….. and results, it would go a long way to further involvement.
